Trophies include Longest Distance 250cc and Under, Oldest Bike & Rider, Hard Luck, People’s Choice. To be eligible for trophies, bikes must be ridden to the rally. No fires, no dogs, no glass, no cars. Food and beer available on site..
8 th – 9 th February Redback Rally Held at Charlton by Sketa Grimshaw Tourers Held every year in the second weekend in February on the bank of the Avoca River north of Charlton off the Boort Charlton road on Private land. The Rally starts on the Friday afternoon and runs through till Sunday morning when the awards are presented. Live Bands play mostly on Saturday evening and night. Other entertainment over the weekend varies from year to year last year we had a trials rider putting on an exhibition, adult entertainment has been there for the last 5 years. Entry to this years RED BACK RALLY is $25.00 prepaid and $30.00 at the gate, badges are included.
8 th – 9 th February Karuah River Rally The BMW Touring Club of NSW is holding the Karuah River Rally situated about 30 km north of Dungog in NSW.On the Frying Pan Creek
Between Dungog and Stroud, or the Wangat Trig Road past the Chichester Dam turnoff. Directions fully signposted from both these roads and a map can be checked at the Bank Hotel, Dungog
The rally is for motorcyclists only; cars are not permissible unless by prior arrangement. Cost is $25 per person (no pre paid), and covers your badge and breakfast voucher.
Firewood and toilets are provided, and sausage/pattie sandwiches and soft drinks will be available for sale on Saturday afternoon.
All other supplies are available in Dungog. A raffle will be drawn on Saturday evening. Usual awards, Applications for distance awards must be lodged on arrival with proof of travel via the most direct route (e.g. license address, fuel receipts etc). The organizers’ decisions will be final.
